Quartz Worktops
Quartz worktops are made from finely ground natural quartz crystals blended with pigments and high-performance resins, then pressed and baked into super-dense, non-porous slabs. It means you get the look and feel of stone, but with extra consistency, strength and far fewer natural imperfections.
Because the colour is engineered in, quartz comes in a huge range of finishes – from clean whites and subtle marbles to bold veining and concrete, terrazzo or ultra-dark tones, so it’s easy to match any kitchen style.
Day-to-day care is very simple: a soft cloth, warm soapy water and a quick wipe are usually all it needs, with no sealing and far less worry about staining than many natural stones. Just avoid placing hot pans directly on the surface and use a chopping board rather than cutting straight on the worktop, and your quartz will stay looking sharp for years.
